Elspeth Vance: Design and Adaptation
Join designer and textile artist Elspeth Vance for a presentation on her work, her influences and her design process. Her most recent patterns were featured on the cover of the final issue of Pompom magazine, “Check Mate: An ode to wovens” and in this presentation she will illuminate the origins of this and many of her other unique patterns.

Elspeth Vance is a knitwear designer and textile instructor of Milwaukie, OR. Elspeth takes inspiration from a variety of textile sources and blends them together, employing techniques that marry weaving, knitting, knotting and color.
