Caitlin Hunter is the designer and creator of Boyland Knitworks. She lives in beautiful Homer, Alaska with her husband and three boys. Her work is inspired by nature and the desire to create garments that combine art and functionality.
In college she studied apparel design and subsequently worked in the traditional garment industry before transitioning to designing patterns for hand knitting. She loves the shared creativity that comes with designing knitting patterns- the customer creates their own personalized work of art from the starting point her design provides.
Caitlin strives to create patterns that are approachable to knitters of all levels and are highly customizable to best fit every body. She firmly believes that knitting is like any challenge in life- just take it one row at a time and you will be surprised at what you can accomplish.
