Ladderback Jacquard Knitting: Intermediate/Advanced Two Color Knitting

Have you struggled with carrying your floats long distances? Ladderback Jacquard is a technique of creating a secondary mesh with the traveling yarn behind the dominant yarn of your colorwork pattern, simultaneously. This method aids in maintaining proper tension and solves the problem of tacking down floats which are often visible from the right side of the work. With a few simple tricks ladderback knitting will open up new possibilities of what is possible to knit with two colors, both in the round and back and forth.

In this class students will work from a chart to learn the fundamentals of ladder back jacquard knitting.
